Los Angeles experienced widespread festivities after the Dodgers clinched a thrilling seven-game World Series championship. Fans across the globe joined Angelenos in celebration, marking the initial time in a quarter-century that a franchise has secured consecutive championships.
Victory Parade Attracts Massive Turnout
Los Angeles area events included a procession through the city center on Monday morning, a reserved-seating event at the team's home stadium, and impromptu gatherings throughout the city.
Online footage depict countless of Angelenos packing city center avenues, many carrying homemade signs and team flags. The squad was seen riding high on a open-top bus through the masses, raising the championship trophy proudly.
